We're unrivaled in Treasure Valley in choices and customizations when it comes to columns, bases, perimeter trim accents and accessories. Dozens of choices and colors are available to match or accentuate your home in traditional, modern, or farmhouse and rustic styles.
Column Options
Standard Columns
Standard (2 x 6 inch) columns are made from the same Alumawood material as the cover, in a "sandwich style". Matching colors are available, or they can be a different color to give the cover a more custom look. They are an excellent choice for any project, and are included in your patio cover estimate.
Stucco Columns
With a standard 9 inch size, stucco columns can be matched with both color and texture to your home's design, or can be customized both in size of structural bases and tops, and chosen colors for further matching - or accentuating - your home's style.
Fiberglass Columns
Much like fiberglass columns used by builders on custom homes, we offer round and squared style options for a completely custom look for matching or accentuating many different home styles. They can also be painted any desired color.
Accent Rock Bases
We also install rock bases to further match the style and design of any home. These bases can vary in size and shape, with typical standard sizes of 16 inch and 24 inch squared. Installed in place, all of our column options work with these custom rock base designs.
Patio Cover Perimeter Accents
Standard Perimeter Accents
Standard perimeters that wrap around your cover have a simple, clean finished look, and can match your cover color, or your home's existing fascia, either in dimension or in color, with a paintable accent surface.
Perimeter + Rafter Ends
A popular finish for many covers, it promotes a "pergola look", while still capturing and directing rainfall. Choose matching or accent color options to your cover and/or columns to accentuate boldness and style.
Perimeter Rafters + Lattice
With a perimeter accent consisting of pergola look rafters, plus the extension of squared or rounded lattice work, your design is further enhanced for a a truly eye-catching look.
Modern Look Perimeter Accents
These custom designs use larger aluminum extrusions to match homes that have a more modern look. They can be installed with both solid, insulated solid or pergola cover options. The posts, beams and perimeter can be custom colored to match your home, or any custom colors you choose.These clean designs match the more contemporary homes found in the Boise Valley.
Rounded Lattice Shaped Pergolas
Rounded lattice shapes add dramatic flair to your home's style, and, as with all of our covers, you can add our exclusive Rainier shade systems for extra cooling and privacy, giving you complete control of your home's outdoor living atmosphere.
Other Accents and Accessories
Post Plates
This unique accent can be added to any cover. Post plates can enhance a home's farmhouse or rustic look with bold metal accents on columns and attachments. Optional ornamental gussets are also available to add style.
Fan Panel Options
With CoverTech's Alumawood electrical raceway cover panels, a professional electrician can install and wire outdoor ceiling fans to your solid cover design. Combined with our specialty panels, a cooler outdoor Idaho summer awaits.
Lighting Options
With electrical raceway cover panels, a professional electrician can also install and wire outdoor lighting to your solid cover, including recessed lights, or virtually any style of desired lighting to brighten up your evenings year round.
